Alternative data with a clean, point-in-time history.
Investors use web data to see operating trends before they appear in reported results. We build alternative datasets from public sources such as prices, job postings, store locations and product catalogues, with point-in-time history and documented methods suitable for research use.
What makes this industry hard to track.
Point-in-time integrity
Backtests fail if history is revised or filled in afterwards. Data must be stored exactly as captured, with capture timestamps.
Mapping to companies
Brands, websites and store names need to be linked to the listed companies and subsidiaries that own them.
Panel stability
When sources change layout or coverage, breaks in the series must be detected and documented rather than smoothed over.
Compliance review
Investment firms need clear evidence that data is public, collected responsibly and free of personal data.

Is the history point-in-time?
Yes. Each record is stored as captured with its timestamp, and we do not overwrite history. If a correction is needed, it is added as a new version so the original remains available.
Can you provide documentation for compliance review?
Yes. We document sources, collection methods, frequency, known breaks and our approach to personal data for each dataset. NDAs are available on request.
Do you sell off-the-shelf datasets?
Our work is mainly bespoke, built around your coverage universe and hypotheses. That means you control the definitions and the data is not a crowded, widely shared feed.
How is data delivered to research teams?
Common options are Parquet or CSV to cloud storage, or direct sync to your data warehouse. Delivery can run daily or weekly on a fixed schedule.
