Rates and availability, by stay date and market.
Travel pricing is a grid of stay dates, room types, occupancy and point of sale, and it changes many times a day. We capture that grid from online travel agencies, metasearch and direct booking sites, so revenue teams work from a consistent, comparable rate history.
What makes this industry hard to track.
A large search grid
Each property needs rates across many arrival dates, lengths of stay, room types and occupancies. The grid must be designed so it is complete without being wasteful.
Point-of-sale differences
The same room can be priced differently depending on the country and currency the search comes from.
Taxes and fees
Some channels show rates before tax and others after, with resort or city fees added separately. Rates must be normalised before comparison.
Room type mapping
Room names differ between channels. Mapping them to a standard type is needed to compare like with like.
Eight data points our clients rely on.
Nightly rate by stay date
Lowest available and room-specific rates for each arrival date.
Rate conditions
Refundable or non-refundable, breakfast inclusion and payment terms.
Taxes and fees
Tax treatment and any additional fees disclosed before booking.
Availability
Whether each room type is bookable, or the property is sold out.
Channel parity
Rate differences for the same room across direct and third-party channels.
Point of sale
The market and currency from which the search was made.
Airfares
Fares by route, date, cabin and carrier type for tracked routes.
Review scores
Guest ratings and review counts by channel.

How many stay dates can you cover?
That depends on your use. Many revenue teams track the next 90 days daily and further dates less often. We design the grid of dates, lengths of stay and occupancies with you.
Can you search from different countries?
Yes. We can run searches from specific points of sale so you see the price a traveller in that market is shown, in their currency.
Do you include taxes and fees?
We capture the rate as shown and any tax or fee breakdown the channel discloses. We then add a normalised total so rates across channels can be compared.
Can you track airfares as well as hotels?
Yes. We capture fares by route, date and cabin from airline and travel sites. Fare data is often combined with hotel rates for destination pricing work.
